Memorial service held at State Capitol.
State lawmakers and others shared their thoughts on the life of the late Representative Sue Tibbs, of Tulsa.
Tibbs died April 13th, after a two-year battle with cancer. A memorial service was held Thursday, in the House chamber.
House Speaker Kris Steele said he knows Tibbs is in Heaven.
"Sitting in the lap of God, shaking that bony finger of hers and strongly suggesting we all attend devotional at the State Capitol, next week," Steele said.
Tibbs was laid to rest in Broken Arrow, on Wednesday.
