Officials say WRWA is 'thriving'.

Passenger traffic in March at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City was up nearly 7% and the airport posted its eleventh consecutive month of positive gains. Officials say the airport is 'thriving'. Airlines have added new destinations, more seats and additional frequencies to meet the Oklahoma City demand. Airport officials anticipate that traffic will grow. Heading into the summer vacation season, flyers will have even more air service options. Frontier Airlines will be adding another nonstop to Denver beginning in May, Southwest Airlines will be adding new nonstop service to Chicago Midway in June, and depending on a DOT ruling nonstop service to Ronald Reagan Washington National on Southwest Airlines may be initiated in late summer.
