Possible managerial agreement could benefit western OK facility.
Help with financial planning, physician recruitment and other issues could be on the horizon for western Oklahoma's Sayre Memorial Hospital.
Mercy Hospital spokeswoman Rachael Wright in Oklahoma City says talks are underway on a managerial agreement between Mercy and Sayre Memorial.
"Sixty percent of the nation's rural hospitals are operating in the red, and all of the 58 hospitals which close every year in the United States are rural facilities," Wright told KTOK.
Wright says a managerial agreement plan between the two hospitals is in the very early stages of discussion.
