Revenue Collections Resume Rise

Despite big drop in gross production tax revenue.

State Treasurer Ken Miller says Oklahoma's economy is reflecting health and resilience in spite of the low price environment for natural gas. He says total revenue collections in April totaled $1.16 billion, up almost $83 million from the same time last year. He says all major sources of revenue saw growth over the prior year except for gross production tax revenue which fell by more than 20 percent.
