Lawmakers still discussing possible improvements to Capitol building.
A proposed bond issue to pay for renovations to the aging State Capitol building is still floating in these last days of the Legislative session.
Senate President Pro Tem Brian Bingman says the idea's still under discussion among lawmakers.
"The (cost) range we're hearing is 160 to 200 million dollars. I do think it's important that the cost to completely renovate this building needs to be in one authorization," Bingman told reporters.
But Democrats says they won't support any proposed bond issue, if there's a move for a reduction to the state's personal income tax.
The Lesgislative session is scheduled to conclude by Friday, May 25th.
