State has spent enough, they say.
State Senator Cliff Aldridge of Midwest City and Senator Patrick Anderson of Enid say enough already. They're against a move to authorize $40 million in bonds to finish the American Indian Cultural Center and Museum in Oklahoma City. "If this 40 million were to pass, the taxpayers of Oklahoma would be into the facility for $107 million," said Aldridge. At a Thursday state capitol news conference, Aldridge and Anderson said a total of 14 GOP senators have signed a pledge not to support the proposed $40 million bond issue.
