Operation conducted during day and night hours.
Oklahoma City police say a sting operation along south Robinson Avenue resulted in several arrests of suspected prostitutes and their customers.
The sting's confirmed by Police Captain Dexter Nelson:
"The vice unit, along with the Will Rogers Impact Team, conducted a prostitute investigation along south Robinson Avenue. During the investigation, they arrested female prostitutes and male 'johns.' This would include one 17-year-old prostitute," Nelson told KTOK.
Nelson says more information on Thursday's arrests will be made public, in the near future.
