Event draws international tourists to OKC.
This year's 26th annual Red Earth Native American Cultural Festival at downtown Oklahoma City's Cox Center is getting international coverage.
Deputy Director Eric Oesch says journalists from Australia, Ireland and Germany are covering the three day event.
"There are so many people who will take their vacations to come to Oklahoma, specifically during the Red Earth Festival, because they've heard for years about the wonderful events," Oesch said.
More than 100 tribes are represented. Oesch says Red Earth dancers represent the elite of Native American dance, some of the most accomplished in the world.
The Red Earth Native American Cultural Festival runs through Sunday.
