A statement released by Bethany police says a suspect was arrested Thursday in connection with the November murder of Carina Saunders, whose dismembered body was found in a duffel bag in a field behind a grocery store. An arrest warrant was issued for 37-year-old Luis Ruiz. "This arrest comes after hundreds of hours of investigation by Bethany detectives and officers," the statement reads. "It is anticipated that formal charges against Ruiz will be presented to the Oklahoma County District Attorney's office sometime next week. No further details concerning this arrest or the investigation may be released at this time to protect the integrity of the case."
