Police say clean cut, apparently intentional.
Bartlesville Animal Control Officers want to know who slashed a dog's throat from ear to ear.
Officer Rita Harvey says the dead pit bull was found in a roadway, on Tuesday. She says witnesses report the pit bull's throat was slashed prior to the dog being struck by a vehicle.
"It had been bleeding profusely. The blood loss from the slash on the neck, combined with getting hit by an automobile, resulted in the dog's death."
Harvey said the dog's throat was slashed from ear to ear and it was a clean cut, apparently done intentionally.
Anyone with information is asked to call Bartlesville police.
