Allegedly assaulted his mother.
Former OSU football star Dez Bryant, who's now with the Dallas Cowboys, faces up to a year in jail and a $4,000 fine if convicted of assaulting his mother at her home in DeSoto, Texas. Angela Bryant called 911 Saturday after the alleged incident and told the dispatcher her son assaulted her when she asked him to leave. When officers arrived they found bruising and swelling on her arms and hands. Her shirt was also torn. Dez Bryant surrendered to police Monday on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. He was released on bond.
