Happened near bar on northeast side.....
One person was wounded and a security guard was nearly run over by a vehicle during the latest shooting incident in the Oklahoma City area.
It happened early today when police responded to a multiple shots fired call at a bar in the 3700 block of Springlake Drive.
MSgt. Gary Knight tells NewsRadio 1000 KTOK that a security guard told officers a vehicle nearly hit him. The guard said he opened fire on the vehicle and that people inside the vehicle apparently fired back.
During the exchange of gunfire, a bystander was apparently struck by a bullet.
MSgt. Knight says the investigation is still in its early stage and that there's no word yet on a suspect or suspects.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
