I-40 & I-35 reopened at daybreak.....

Still no word yet from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol on what caused a grinding car and truck accident that killed five people early today at what is called the Dallas Junction of I-40 and I-35 in Oklahoma City.

It happened around 1 a.m. when a car apparently slammed into a semi rig, cutting the vehicle in half and ejecting the five people.

Much of that portion of the interstates were closed as troopers went to work trying to gather details at the scene.  The roadway reopened right around daybreak.

We're expecting more info from the OHP later today as they're continuing their investigation.  No word yet on the identities of the victims.
