Governor Mary Fallin has asked Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board to chance some policies.
This is after accusations made by Oklahoma County D-A David Prater that the board has secretly granted parole to inmates who aren't eligible.
Governor Fallin's general counsel sent a letter to the board's executive director Terry Jenks, recommending the board create a separate commutation docket, and to clarify the board's commutation and parole process.
