Says both are ready for the challenge.
Governor Mary Fallin on Friday appointed two new members of the DHS Commission. Pam Kanaly of Edmond replaces Jay Chase who died last month. She is co-founder of Arise Ministries, a women's outreach organization. Karen Waddell of Edmond replaces Richard DeVaughn, whose term has expired. She is president of the Lynn Institute for Healthcare Research. "Both Pam Kanaly and Karen Waddell are respected and successful community leaders with a great deal of experience working with families and children," Fallin said. "I know both are ready for the challenge and committed to serving on the Commission in order to help the agency to better protect and serve the children and citizens of Oklahoma."
