No one injured in blast & fire.....
No one injured early today after an apparent explosion and fire at a northeast side fruit and vegetable business.
It happened right after midnight near NE 36th and Lincoln Avenue as Oklahoma City police and firefighters responded to calls of people hearing an explosion in the area.
When they arrived, they noted that the source of the explosion and fire near the warehouse was a trash compactor.
The cause of the blast and resulting fire is still under investigation, but our broadcast partners at NewsChannel 4 KFOR report that there was some type of maintenance work going on with that trash unit earlier.
Seems that most of the damage done to the business was around the compactor and that portion of the warehouse where it was located.
