12/12/12 is cool, but apparently not really symbolic.
Today's date only occurs once in a century: 12/12/12.
However, Kirkpatrick Planetarium Director Wayne Harris-Wyrick in Oklahoma City said November 11th, 2011 was more significant for some people.
"I have spoken with people who believe in and follow numerology. And eleven is symbolic because it represents a set of doors. So, the eleven, eleven, eleven last year was pretty symbolic of something," Harris-Wyrick told KTOK.
Harris-Wyrick said there is a sort of magical quality to numbers, since everything we know about nature is based on them.
"Actually, twelve, twelve, twelve has a harder punch," he said.
