An elderly Oklahoma City man has died in an overnight fire at his northeast OKC house.
It happened early Tuesday evening near NE 20th and Bath Streets as firefighters responded to the blaze at a house that apparently had burglar bars on the doors and windows.
Friends and family members tried to reach wheelchair-bound 84-year-old Lloyd Brunson, but they were unsuccessful in their efforts.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, but initial reports indicate that officials do not believe there is anything suspicious about the fire.
