Volunteers needed for boards, commissions.
Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett's office is taking applications from residents who wish to volunteer for positions on boards, committees and commissions staffed by the City Planning Department.
Applications are being accepted on-line for commissions including the Bricktown Urban Design Committee, Arts Commission, Historic Preservation Commission and the Riverfront Design Committee, among others.
Most boards require volunteers to be Oklahoma City residents, but a few accept non-residents.
