Dorman wants to hear ideas.

We can expect to hear some talk about school safety when the legislative session kicks-off, next month.

Representative Joe Dorman of Rush Springs wants to hear from teachers and school officials on potential changes in school safety policies.

This comes after last month's school massacre in Connecticut.

"I have 14 different schools (in my district.) Only one has safety officers in place. We're becoming a society where we need to look at things like this. It's really sad we have to consider such things," Dorman told KTOK.

The meeting's set for 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 12th, in the Rush Springs High School auditorium.

The legislative session begins February 4th.
