Ken Miller says office more efficient.

State Treasurer Ken Miller wants a five-percent budget cut for his agency. It's what he told a House Budget subcommittee on Thursday. "Our request for a $190,000 cut in appropriations is made possible by a concerted effort to become more efficient and tightly focused on our core treasury functions," he said. "By outsourcing non-core jobs and taking advantage of advances in technology, we have increased our output while decreasing our costs."
