Bank Robbery Suspects Arrested

Officers recognized suspects at burglary call.

Oklahoma City police have arrested two suspects believed responsible for three robberies in the Oklahoma City/Del City area since January 18th. According to an FBI statement, officers responded to a residence in southeast Oklahoma City Tuesday after a 911 call reporting a possible burglary in progress. After responding to the scene, one officer recognized 19-year-old Charles Johnson as the primary suspect in the investigation of the recent bank robberies. Johnson was arrested along with his alleged accomplice, 18-year-old Leon Murrell.
