Inhofe says he has 'serious concerns'.
The U.S. Senate voted Tuesday to confirm former Nebraska U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel to be Defense Secretary. Both Oklahoma U-S Senator Jim Inhofe and Senator Tom Coburn voted against the nomination. In a statement, Inhofe said he has serious concerns about the ability of Hagel to lead the Department of Defense. He said Hagel's first order of business, though, must be to avert the devastating cuts to our military associated with sequestration.
