Director says she is thrilled.
This year's Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon raised a record amount of money for operation of the Oklahoma City National Memorial. Executive director Kari Watkins announced Tuesday that the Marathon raised $983,500, an increase of $33,000 from 2012. "We are thrilled and incredibly grateful to our runners, sponsors and volunteers for their continuing support," said Watkins. This year's Marathon included nearly 26,000 runners.
