Woman shot after answering a knock on the door.
Midwest City Police Chief Brandon Clabes says six people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a woman Saturday at a home in the 10-thousand block of Caton Place. 39-year-old Shirley Butler answered a knock on the door and was shot in the chest. Her husband, Kalvin Murray, called 911. Six people were eventually arrested, including a 17-year-old female. Police believe 19-year-old Jarvis Jones was the shooter. During a search of the home, police found a large amount of marijuana. According to the suspects, they intended to rob the house of drugs and money.
