GROOM FORGETS TO ARRANGE WEDDING VENUE SO CALLS IN BOMB THREAT TO COVER UP
An English guy, 36-year-old Neil McArdle of Liverpool, was set to get married and was supposed to book the venue, St. George's Hall in Liverpool . . . but he forgot to do the paperwork.
So to get out of looking bad, he decided to CALL IN A BOMB THREAT to shut the place down so no one would find out he hadn't booked it. Then he went forward with the wedding as usual, letting everyone show up at the Hall only to find. . the building WAS shut down, and there were cops swarming everywhere.
Of course, even though he'd made the call from a pay phone, the cops quickly traced the threat back to him. He just pleaded guilty to one count of communicating false information with intent, and he'll be sentenced in a few weeks. Remarkably, he and his girl are still together . . . but haven't gotten married. Now he either goes into holy matrimony or to jail. Either way he's going to prison....so....
Truthfully, what girl is gonna leave that up to the groom anyway? Duh.
